These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pattern app. By downloading, accessing, or using Pattern, you agree to these terms.

Use of the App

Pattern is provided for personal self-tracking and reflection. You may use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms of Service.

No Medical Advice

Pattern is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency support. Information shown in the app, including trends and summaries, is for general self-observation only.

Important: Do not use Pattern as a substitute for professional medical judgment, treatment, or emergency care.

Accounts and Purchases

In the current version, Pattern does not require account registration. App purchases, if any, are handled through Apple's platform and are also subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Your Data

You are responsible for the data you enter into Pattern and for any files you export or share. In the current implementation, your tracking data stays on your device unless you choose to export and share it yourself.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the app in a way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or misuse the app beyond rights permitted by applicable law;
  • misrepresent the app as providing medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical advice.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, text, graphics, and software are owned by the developer or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Availability and Changes

Pattern may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features may be added, modified, or removed in future releases.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pattern is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of Pattern.

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

If these Terms of Service are updated, the revised version should be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
