Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Electrician Toolkit ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable App Store rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business use.

2. No Professional Substitute

Electrician Toolkit is a field aid only. It is not engineering advice, code compliance certification, inspection approval, or a substitute for professional judgment.

You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying all calculations before use
• Following applicable laws, codes, standards, and manufacturer guidance
• Ensuring that any installation work is performed by qualified persons where required

3. Accuracy and Availability

We aim to make the App useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the App is error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every jurisdiction, code cycle, project type, or jobsite condition.

4. User Data

The App may store presets, favorites, and recent usage locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up any information you wish to keep.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App in violation of any law or regulation
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
• Misrepresent the App as providing certified engineering or legal compliance approval
• Use the App in a way that could endanger persons or property without independent verification

6. Purchases and Refunds

Purchases made through Apple's App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, billing, and refund policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted where these Terms are made available, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app publisher is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.
