1. Agreement
Welcome to Chronic Care - MediTrend. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app provides features such as:
- Personal health metric tracking and review.
- Medication plan management, reminders, and dose logging.
- Trend charts, PDF export, and local backup/restore.
- Local privacy protection features such as App Lock.
The product is designed as a device-first utility app. The current version does not require account registration and does not depend on a developer-operated backend for core functionality.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app only in lawful and proper ways. You must not:
- Enter or distribute content that violates law or infringes third-party rights.
- Use the app for unlawful, misleading, abusive, or harmful purposes.
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, bypass protections, or otherwise interfere with the app’s normal operation.
4. Medical Disclaimer
Alerts, charts, statistics, and summaries are for reference only and do not replace the judgment of doctors, pharmacists, or other qualified medical professionals.
If you experience urgent symptoms, unusual changes, or a possible medical emergency, contact a doctor or medical provider promptly.
5. Data and Backup Responsibility
- Your data is primarily stored locally on your device.
- You decide whether to export, share, or back up files, and you are responsible for the risks of doing so.
- You are responsible for securing your device, device passcode, backup files, and exported documents.
- To the extent permitted by law, the developer does not guarantee recovery of data lost due to device loss, system failure, accidental deletion, third-party storage issues, or user sharing behavior.
6. Permissions and System Features
The app may use system notifications, biometric authentication, and file access features in order to provide reminders, import/export, and local security functions.
If you deny these permissions, some features may not work properly. Permission behavior may also depend on iOS version, device state, and Apple platform rules.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, including its interface, text, design, code, icons, trademarks, and related materials, is owned by the developer or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app without permission.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- The app is provided on an “as is” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or fitness for every particular use case.
- The developer is not liable beyond the limits required by law for losses caused by device issues, system behavior, third-party platforms, network conditions, user error, disabled permissions, exports, sharing, or force majeure.
- You remain responsible for decisions you make based on records, reminders, charts, or summaries provided by the app.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time due to product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. Updated versions may be made available through the app, a website, or another appropriate channel. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of or related to the app or these Terms should first be attempted to be resolved in good faith. If that is not possible, the dispute may be submitted to a court or tribunal with proper jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
